In the beginning...
Hi, I'm a small town, country loving, mountain climbing, adventure having, creative mind girl. I'm off on an adventure known as "renovating". Yes, I am on that journey of changing my childhood growing up in room into a room that is more my age. (If you don't know, don't ask.)
A friend of mine told me I should do a blog to keep her, and anyone else who wants to follow along, in the loop as to how things are going. I have big ideas, big dreams and a whole lot of DIY projects. So, this is the beginning of my adventure and this blog. Maybe doing this will help me keep on top of the work. Once my room is done, I'll try to keep some updates on things I create here and there.
Here are the designs I sketched up (no, the measurements aren't right and I have changed a few things already) after this all going through my mind at 1am.
Now, I don't want everyone to be expecting updates daily or even weekly. You'll have to hang in there with me. Reno's take time. DIY's take time and when you're working part time and trying to enjoy the amazing weather as much as you can, I side work takes time. But, I will post as often as I can and as detailed as I can. That way you all can try the DIY projects yourself...if you want...avoiding my mistakes.
Also, i might post some adventures I'll go on. You know, those outside ones...like the one I went on today!
